Biography
For the last decade, I've dedicated myself to finding and completing the most interesting races in the world. Running and reporting on adventure marathons has become a specialty for me with stories published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and other media. I've completed 20 marathons to date and have two Guinness Book of World Records to my name. I'm always interested in marathons in unique locales, be it race courses in Hawaii over fields of hardened lava rock or running in the first international marathon in Bhutan -- I won women's second place and was awarded a carpet. I've worked for CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC.com and many other media networks. In addition, I work as a marketing consultant. I have a MBA and MS in Journalism/Media Management from Columbia University. |
